Hey Girl Hey on today’s Wealth and Wellness segment we are talking with the founder of Ladies of Leisure LOL Wines
Ladies of Leisure is “wine that looks good and tastes good”! Founder Nevena’s personal experience with buying wine with fun labels, is that it never tasted so good. So she wanted to change that. We value the customer that buys wine based on fun labels and that’s why we’ve combined great tasting wine with good looking labels.
Our three wines are: Sexy Sauv, Zero Fs Given Rosé, and Racy Red. Each name holds within it the aliveness, rebelliousness, and excitement we feel at different times. Each captured feeling alchemizes the drinking experience into a form of spoken or unspoken “liquid expression”, redefining what the act of drinking a glass of wine can mean.
The name Ladies of Leisure, a nod to summer weekends Nevena and friends would have sipping wine and relaxing, is also a challenge to the old paradigm of what it means to be leisurely. Leisure is not about being entitled, spoiled, and lazy, or ignoring responsibilities. It’s about owning your personal time and using it to relax and recharge. Leisure, often relinquished to the pervasive beliefs that “busy” and “doing” equal “achieving”, actually paves the way for clarity, creativity, and fun, the aspects that help us live more successful and fulfilled lives.
An integral part of Ladies of Leisure is supporting organizations working to create a better society. A portion of each purchase is donated to one of three organizations, working across womens’ rights, the environment, and education. The customer selects where their purchase donation goes, giving them more opportunity to make their voices heard and dollars work for what they care about the most.
This is wine that looks good, tastes good, and does good.
